From 1971-1983 The Southern Cross Band established itself as the most popular Southern Rock group to play the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area. SCB had a huge following and a mailing list of over 10,000. In addition to club dates SCB opened shows for all of the top Southern Rock national acts.
