Tekno (also known as Spiral Tekno, Hardtek, Tribetek) is a form of Electronic Dance Music (EDM) that is for the most part played at free parties across Europe. The spelling of Tekno with a k is deliberate to differentiate its style from that of traditional Techno music and it coincided with the Teknival (free party) movement of the 1990s.
